Training Services

Greenane offers tailored training programs which converge your goals and the specific needs of your horse. Our programs optimize your training dollars while ensuring training quality.

CUSTOM TRAINING PACKAGE
1 hour of training per day, 5 days per week, never more than 1 consecutive off-day per week. A minimum of 3 months is required for most horses to ensure that the basics can be taught and that the lessons learned are retained by your horse thus ensuring the quality of training and your safety. Most horses will leave Basic Training as a safe riding horse capable of walking, trotting, cantering and backing-up on command. Horses completing the training make acceptable trial horses.

After arriving at Greenane, each horse enters a 2-week initial evaluation period where their disposition, coordination and ability to learn will be reviewed by our trainers. At the end of this period you will be provided a report-card of your horses' progress with our assessment of them. If your horse is not trainable, you will be refunded, or a specialized training program will be developed.

Advanced training upon request. After completing Greenane's 3 month initial training program, our trainer will sit with you and design a custom training program which matches your plans and your horses' requirements.
